Fall Housing Market Update in Vancouver Washington

Share

Fall is here. The days are shorter. The temperatures are cooler. Historically, real estate agents worry that the market is going to drop, but that’s not currently the case.

Why Fall Usually Falls

The reason the fall market usually tapers off is due to:

  • Kids in school
  • Colder weather
  • Approaching holidays

Why Fall Isn’t Falling This Year

Although these issues still exist, this year, other factors are keeping the fall market hopping, especially for homes between $250,000 and $395,000. They include:

  • Low interest rates
  • Baby boomers looking for retirement homes
  • First time home buyers
  • People downsizing

Whether you want to buy or sell in the Vancouver market, give me a call. I’d love to show you how well the fall market is doing.
